We had a fun Halloween. Cora helped scoop out the pumpkin and experienced trick-or-treating for the first time. Memphians aren't big on door-to-door trick-or-treating. We never get more than 20 kids. Everyone goes to church or festival events instead. We took Cora to a church up the road for their Trick-Treat-or-Trunk. I thought it would be inside and they would pass candy out of trunks, or chests. Instead it was outside -- rows and rows of people passing candy out of their car trunks. Kind of clever. The best part is Cora is too young for candy so Mom & Dad made out with a nice loot! (yep, we shameless worked "the system")
Panda-monium at the Trick-Treat-or-Trunk! There were well over 200 kids when we were there. Cora was fascinated by a toddler in an Elmo costume. She kept looking at him like, "Don't I know you from some where?"
