Chris and I had fun with friends at a masquerade ball benefiting the revitalization of our downtown. Chris entered the People's Choice contest with his Scooby mask. By applause, he won hands down; but since the winner was actually determined by money collected on the spot at the party, he lost to a local business leader (despite people generously throwing him some bones). As he said, it's a dog-eat-dog world :-)
