Annaliese is super-independent and strong willed and can do a lot of things all by herself, which is great. She laughs more than any other person I know, and her laughter and delight in EVERYTHING are contagious. She wakes up happy, she goes to bed happy, and in between she's looking for things to enjoy and marvel at. She is such a fun little person to be around, and I am so, so grateful I've had this year to be with just her for several hours a day while Cora is at pre-school. Her observations, sweet heart and silly sense of humor are truly a joy. She's my little buddy and partner in crime as we (somewhat) regularly duck into cafes or the donut shop after dropping Cora off for a "little treat." And while she wants to do everything big sister does, she is 100% her own person, and it's wonderful to watch that person-hood take shape. We love you, Liese!
