Before Marin was born, we had a butterfly garden with one big question: which would we have first? Caterpillars that transformed to butterflies or a new baby? It turns out, we had butterflies.

The girls and I spent a lot of time on the porch. Playing ponies is a favorite activity.
And we had lots of rain, which the girls like to play in and make mud masks.
