She is so busy, and she is totally un-phased by the possibility of hurting herself. Like a little tank, she runs around the house, gets right in the mix with the big kids at day care and music class, gets knocked down, gets right back up and keeps going. On the rare occasion when she does hurt herself, she kisses her own boo boos! Needless to say, she keeps us laughing!
She is still a super-social little tike. She loves to say hi and bye to everyone, she adores other babies, she likes to play dress up (she wears a tutu all day at day care and won't take it off even for nap time) and do everything Cora does. She can say, "hi," "bye," "kitty cat," "baby," "Cora," "Mama," "Dada," "ball," "tooth brush" and "banana" and she emphatically shakes her head "yes" and "no" when you ask her questions. She's a great eater, likes to have stories read to her and is quick to let us know when something isn't to her liking. Just as determined as Cora, Liese is convinced there are three types of animals in the world - fish, kitty cats and elephants. She classifies all animals into one of these three and will INSIST that she is right no matter how many times you try to teach her a different animal sound or sign.
She konks out every night between 6:30 and 7 pm, and after chasing her around all day, I'm typically right behind her! But I wouldn't trade it for anything. She's a character, and I love seeing her personality, which is so different already from Cora's, develop.
Annaliese and Cora love Waggin, I find all kinds of play food on her bed that they've "cooked" for her, and both girls like to read to Waggin.
People LOVE tutus and heels at our house.
All ready for the day
