Evening Ritual

Now that Chris' night classes are done (HOORAY!!), we go for a walk as a family every evening. Cora loves to push her baby in her little stroller from Grandpa Bri all around the neighborhood. She points out the trees, neighbor's dogs and toys, etc. She even noticed a PIG in one of our neighbor's backyards. That's right. A full-size, grunting, tail-swishing pig. Can we say code enforcement?

One of her favorite things to point out is a statue of the Virgin Mary in a neighbor's garden. I guess she's noticed similar statues at church, but we've never been focused on the adoration of Mary. She always waves hello to "Cheese (aka Jesus) mommy" and blows her kisses. It's really sweet.
