Mother's Day (a little late)

Chris & I are so fortunate to come from a line of extraordinary mothers. Our grandmas were and are incredible women, and our mothers are everything you could want in a mom: loving, devoted to their kids, take no nonsense, instilled values in us, held us to high standards, were the first to offer support when life deals a crappy hand and have great senses of humor. I only hope I can live up to the example they've set.

And now photos from Mother's Day in Dallas, in reverse order.

Bill & Ann-Renee hosted a wonderful dinner. The only person missing from this photo is photographer extraordinaire, Grandpa Dan. Or, as Cora calls him, Ba-Pa.

Cora loved Uncle Bill's homemade spaghetti sauce.
Coloring-coloring with Grandma.

All dolled up for the party at Uncle Bill & Aunt Ann-Renee's house.

Cora and her favorite person.

These photos are from the day we arrived. You can tell Cora is fighting how tired she is after a day in the car and 4:30 am departure.
