Last Day of School

Cora had such a great preschool experience this year. Her sweet teachers, Mrs. Foster and Mrs. Freesen, patiently brought her out of her shell. She went from only saying, "Yep!" (literally --- that is ALL she would say the first 3 months of school) to talking to her teachers, other parents, and even the occasional stranger. Her social development and confidence grew leaps and bounds, and I'm so glad we sent her to preschool.

Other accomplishments this school year include: improved scissor cutting skills (she's a lefty), she can (some what) write her name, she learned the days of the week and all about weather, learned how to walk on a balance beam and knows a ton of cute songs. My favorite is about jumping aboard a pirate ship. Her best friends at school are Grant, Lauryn, Kendall and Maddie.

She looks so big and so beautiful in that picture! And how amazing that she came out of her shell so much in the last year. Preschool is such a blessing on so many levels:)
